IVET ensure all teachers and assessors understand the requirements of the VET environment and that they continue to develop this knowledge after obtaining their training and assessment competencies through a range of PD opportunities listed.

IVET develops and implements a plan for professional development for each of our teachers and assessors. Ensuring that all teachers and assessors undertake professional development will help contribute to the demonstration of vocational training and learning requirements.

Undertaking professional development means a teacher and assessor has participated in activities to maintain, upgrade and/or develop the way in which they train and assess.
