First Aid Train the Trainer Day

As part of our quality assurance requirements, school teachers who are IVET authorised first aid trainers or plan to be IVET authorised first aid trainers of the HLTAID011, Provide first aid unit or HLTAID090 are required to attend an IVET Authorised First Aid Refresher and Induction Program. 

We are hosting the following sessions delivering Profice First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR only (HLTAID009).

Scheduled dates for this program are listed below. 

COST:

Full Provide First Aid course (HLTAID011):   $100.

Half-day CPR course (HLTAID009):  $50. 

You should attend this session IF:

• Your First Aid qualification (HLTAID011) is 3 or more years old. ARC guidelines state that First Aid should be revisited at a minimum every 3 years.

• You have not obtained a CPR certification (HLTAID009) within the last 12 months – please note you must hold a relevant HLTAID009 Statement of Attainment, unofficial refresher CPR classes will not be approved in 2024.

Note:   Teachers will not be able to deliver this unit to students without having a current First Aid qualification (HLTAID011) (including current CPR).
